Embark on a Presidential Journey You’ll Never Forget John F. In the heart of downtown Tampa, the Henry B. Plant Museum transports you to the year 1891, when the now national Historic Landmark was home to the Tampa Bay Hotel. Exhibits feature the original opulent furnishings of the Victorian railroad resort, the lifestyle of the early Florida tourists, hotel staff, Henry Plant, Spanish America War and the annual Victorian Christmas Stroll.

The USF Contemporary Art Museum opened its current facility in 1989.  The museum presents significant and investigative exhibitions of contemporary art from Florida, the United States and around the world including Africa, Europe and Latin America.  Changing exhibitions are designated to introduce students, faculty and the community to current cultural trends.

The Ybor City Museum focuses on the heritage of Ybor City and features exhibits on the people who settled here, the cigar industry and the historical social clubs.   La Casita is a shotgun house recreated as a cigar worker’s home at the turn of the century.
